Awkwafina

Awkwafina has been described as an American performer and actor who began her career with innovative raps which addressed the issues of sexuality and race with a an edgy, comical perspective. She then expanded to Hollywood. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese and Korean parents in Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was her first instrument. In addition to classical and jazz, the young Nora started to study hip-hop during her teens. After concentrating on education, she was awarded the degree of journalist in university and also a women's study major. Following graduation, she decided to focus on music. After becoming famous via the Internet, her song My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually made its way onto the debut album Yellow Ranger. On the album, there were other viral hits including Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitche$1. The last track was linked directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide published in 2015. A musician and author was on her resume she set her sights on an actor for a third venture. Apart from early series like Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2. Storks as well as Bad Rap. Her breakout roles included Dude Ocean's 8 along with Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released the EP in Fina We Trust.
