Jill Hennessy
She is a native Edmontonian and has a mixture of Irish, Italian and Swedish roots, along with French, Ukrainian French, and Swedish. Jacqueline's twin is an actress too. Jill was fluent in many languages when she was growing up. They included Italian, French, and Spanish. When she was twelve years of age, Jill started to get interested in with acting. She started her acting career in Toronto with David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort alongside the twins of her. In the following years, she was studying improv at Second City with Deb Kimmet. After a few years, she went back to New York and signed a deal to portray the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long running hit series, Law & Order. For the duration of her 3 year stint in the show, she was also acting in feature films such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), and I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Following that, she landed roles in some forgettable movies. However, in 1999 she was cast as a lead in the miniseries uremberg together with Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major series were set to be released. Her first lead role was on the crime drama NBC's Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, for her role in the show, she was awarded to the show she was honored with a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Leading in a Drama Series". She got married in 2000 to the actor who played her Paolo Mastropietro. The couple has two kids together. In 2007, she was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2007.
